Batangas is a province on the southwestern part of Luzon in the CALABARZON region. Batangas is one of the most popular tourist destinations near Metro Manila. The province has many beaches and is famous for excellent diving spots including Anilao in Mabini, Sombrero Island in Tingloy, Ligpo Island in Bauan, these areas more popularly known as Anilao.

The Portulano Resort is a small and cozy resort in Batangas, Luzon, Philippines where you can snorkel, dive or just enjoy a stunning view of the sea, great food and good company. You can dive all the best sites of Batangas: Tingloy, Anilao, Bauan, the farthest sites are just 15 minutes away via speedboat.

Scuba Diving. The Portulano Resort offers dive facilities and services such as tank rentals and airfills using well maintained and serviced scuba tanks and a K14 9cfm Bauer Compressor. Gear rentals, boat diving and dive instruction services are also available. See links on dive training.
We use a 22 foot speedboat powered by a 75 horsepower engine to access Island dives in 15 minutes. Outrigger boats are used for dive sites in the area which are 3-5 minutes away.
